Standards first
ABYC-minded practice and Master Electrician oversight—protection, labeling, and wiring methods that stay understandable after we leave.
About
Nu Power Marine is how Nu Power LLC shows up for yachts—same electrical discipline, clearer marine focus.
Who we are
We’ve always been an electrical company. The rebrand simply puts the yacht work front and center.
Owners and captains don’t need another general contractor who “also does boats.” They need someone who understands panels that live in a humid bilge, nav lights that must be seen, shore power that won’t eat the zincs, and entertainment systems that don’t interfere with critical electronics.
Based in New Orleans, Louisiana, we serve vessels on the local waterfront and nearby Gulf Coast—scheduled upgrades, haul-out work, and the “it just quit” calls that never arrive at a convenient hour.
How we work
ABYC-minded practice and Master Electrician oversight—protection, labeling, and wiring methods that stay understandable after we leave.
Power, lighting, A/V, and networks share the same boat. We plan installs so one upgrade doesn’t create three new problems.
Plain-language recommendations, clean documentation where it counts, and respect for how you actually use the vessel.
Credentials & partners
Licenses and marine credentials are listed as credentials. Brand names below are systems and platforms we work with—not certifications we claim.
American Boat & Yacht Council Master Technician—marine electrical standards applied on the job.
Licensed Master Electrician leadership for electrical work that meets a higher bar than “good enough for a boat.”
Marine electronics installer technician training for integration that follows industry practice.
NMEA 2000 network experience—layout, device adds, and network troubleshooting.
Hands-on work with Lopolight, Rockwell Automation, and Heinzmann systems as the vessel requires.
